The Beach!

The next day we took our time getting up, eating, packing, and getting ready.  We found an outlet Disney store and took the kids there, then, we headed for the beach!  It was the boys' first time to see the ocean, and we couldn't have picked a better place (thanks Jeni and Ian!).  It was beautiful!  The day was warm, it wasn't very crowded, and there were tons of things to do.  We could have spent all day there.

 The boys loved chasing the waves and then turning around and letting the waves chase them back.  
Lucas was a little afraid of the water, but, he loved playing in the sand.

 There were tide pools all over the place, so, we were able to do a little exploring and saw all sorts of creatures!

 

 

 

Chris was climbing up on some rocks and a big wave came up and splashed him.  If only I would have had the camera ready...

My legs and feet were so swollen by this time, it was amazing that I could even walk :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chris practically had to drag me and the kids away!  It was the perfect ending to our trip.  I miss going to the beach so much.  I just loved being there and feeling the sun on my back, listening to the sound of the waves, smelling the salt water, and listening to the kids play.  It was heaven!

About 5 minutes after we got back in the car, this one was out!
