Spencer and Tawny's Wedding

Spencer and Tawny got married on Friday, September 25th. It was such a great day and we couldn't be happier for the two of them!
The boys had fun playing on the temple grounds while waiting for them to come out.

They couldn't wait to see Tawny in her "pretty dress", and they ran up and hugged her the first chance they got!

Adam was just as excited to see his cousin, Ethan.

Jason was first seated over by Spencer and had his face hidden for the first few pictures. We found out that he was pouting because he wanted to be next to Tawny, and as soon as he traded places, he was happy.

The boys just love her!

Jason spent the weeks leading up to the wedding playing pretend wedding with me (although he informed me that when he grows up, he is going to marry me for real- watch out Chris), and talking about it non stop. I think that he was more excited about the wedding than anyone else, maybe even Tawny :). The last wedding we went to was a few months ago. When we got there, he told me that the bride looked just like a princess, and he stared at her in awe the whole night. Whenever she was out of sight, he would get worried and ask me where the pretty girl had gone. About halfway through the reception he got up the nerve to ask her if he could hug her, and from then on every time that Jason went missing, we found him standing next to the bride either staring up at her adoringly, or hugging her. So, you can imagine that he was in heaven taking this picture!

My one goal for the reception was to keep the boys clean until after pictures. Unfortunately, due to the turtles and fish in this pond, all of the boys had muddy knees less than 15 minutes after we got there!

Chris and Greg stuffed Spencer's car with so many balloons that they couldn't get in. Chris put a few Oreos on the car window for old time's sake, but overall I think they were pretty nice with the decorating. That's right Spencer, it could have been much worse!

The kids had a blast with the balloons.
