Christmas Eve

We usually make a fun dinner on Christmas Eve and have friends or family over, but, this year we lucked and didn't have to cook! My friend Sarah is Native American, and her parents were here visiting for Christmas. They invited us over for a delicious dinner of Navajo tacos. Mmmm, they were SO good! Sarah's mom is amazing. We had a great dinner, the kids had a blast playing and getting out of the house, and overall it was just a fun night! I wish I would have had my camera there! After dinner, Sarah's dad pulled out his guitar and played Christmas carols. Jason loves music, and he was front and center listening and singing along.
When we got home, we made cookies and then watched Garfield's Christmas. We usually let the boys draw names and go to the dollar store to pick out presents for each other that they exchange on Christmas Eve, but we ran out of time this year. They still got to open their present from us though.
Here are pictures of the boys opening their pajamas.

Here we are in our new PJ's

Chris, trying to read Luke 2. Adam was listening, Isaac was laying on the couch not listening, and Jason was jumping all over everyone and everything. After reading the Christmas story, we read The Night Before Christmas, and then got the kids ready for bed. Read below to find out more about Christmas Eve day.

They all look so cute in their jammies. How could you not like Christmas your kids look so happy, that would make it all worth it to me.
